Green Lantern

Hotshot test pilot Hal Jordan was always fearless, honest, and strong, but when he was chosen by the Guardians of the Universe to be a Green Lantern, he became one of the greatest heroes ever. Given his Power Ring by Abin Sur, a dying member of the Green Lantern Corps who crash-landed on Earth, Jordan accepted the responsibilities that came with it - to protect good and fight evil throughout the universe. Using the ring to fly, to travel through space, and to create almost any construct he needs to aid in his duties, Jordan faithfully upholds the oath he swore: "In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight! Let those who worship evil's might, beware my power... Green Lantern's Light!"
