Designed for use in a variety of planetary environments, the All Terrain Scout Transport (AT-ST) boasted blaster cannons, grenade launchers, and clawed feet - all of which proved to be of little help when defending against attacks launched by fuzzy little Ewoks on the forest moon of Endor. Prominently featured in the 1983 film Star War: Return of the Jedi, these two-person Imperial reconnaissance vehicles earned the nickname "chicken walkers" from fans in reference to their general shape and jerky movement.   |
