Tusken Raider

Showing no tolerance for trespassers in their desert territories, a savage band of Sand People unleashes a surprise attack on an unsuspecting Luke Skywalker. One of the merciless nomads strikes at him repeatedly with a deadly, double-pointed gaffi stick, emitting a fearsome battle cry that echoes throughout the barren canyon lands of Tatooine. Star Wars fans were first introduced to this sinister species, known as Tusken Raiders, when Episode IV premiered in 1977.
