Clad in black armor and an ominous mask, Darth Vader symbolizes all the darkness and repression of the Emperor's New Order. Born Anakin Skywalker and trained to be a Jedi Knight, Darth Vader eventually chooses to follow the dark side of the Force. As Luke Skywalker's nemesis, he is more dangerous than any other opponent, since he seeks not to kill the young Jedi but to lure him down the same dark path that he himself has chosen.
