Leonardo

Leonardo is only 15 years old (in turtle years, that's just a kid), but his sense of responsibility makes him the unofficial leader of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In the original 1984 comic strip by Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman, Leonardo stands at the center of the action as the turtles face their first battle against the evil Shredder and his Foot Clan. Leonardo's weapon of choice is a pair of super sharp katana swords. His skills are the result of years of training with ninjitsu master Splinter, the rat who rescued the turtles from the radioactive mutagen that gave them all their mystical powers.
